Charter Holdings is a Dallas based diversified real estate investment company involved in the ownership of commercial real estate properties in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and Colorado Springs, Colorado. The principals of Charter Holdings are CEO Ray W. Washburne and Senior Vice President Philip C. Scheble. Tom Marsh, Controller and Neal Morris, Asset Manager support the company along with the management team. Together they have over 60 years of experience in the Dallas real estate market. Currently, Charter owns approximately 3 million square feet of income producing properties, including Advancial Tower, a class A office building in the Uptown area of Dallas and Arapaho Business Park, a 500,000 square foot flex project in Richardson. Charter also redeveloped Kingsley Square, a 79,000 square foot shopping center in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas.
Charter has successfully developed condominium projects, commercial land, several large single family communities and shopping centers, including the 150,000 square foot SteinMart Center in Hurst, Texas. Charter Holdings is currently focused on acquiring opportunistic office and industrial products. Charter's strategy is to capitalize on inefficiencies in the marketplace and acquire properties with tremendous upside potential at well below replacement cost in historically stable areas. Charter maintains a low overhead by utilizing third party leasing companies in order to maximize investor returns and quickly react to opportunities in the dynamic real estate marketplace.

Ray Washburne is also a co-founder of the MCrowd restaurant group. He is a member of the Dallas Citizens Council, Board of Entrust, Board of Colonial Bank - Texas, the Dallas Assembly, and the Texas Lyceum. He is an active member of the Dallas chapter of the Young Presidents' Organization. Ray is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and serves on the school's 21st Century Council. Phil Scheble joined Charter Holdings in January 1999 to underwrite and coordinate the acquisitions and financing of income producing properties. Phil is a graduate of the University of North Carolina.
Tom Marsh joined Charter Holdings in January 2008 at Controller/Asset Manager. Tom has an extensive background in real estate accounting with local real estate firms. He holds the CPA designation with a MBA from Texas Tech University.
